  1. Goodness gracious. I used to watch this a lot when I was a kid. The Undertaker, the Hardy Boys, and Rey Mysterio were always my favorite. I've tried to watch it today but now there's too many new people that I can hardly keep up with it now. Also there's too much drama, eh oh well. It was probably one of my best childhood shows watching growing up. You got any favorite fighters?

  2. Hi Chauncey. This blog brought back a lot of memories, both good and bad. Prior to WWE was a wrestling organization called Big Time Wrestling. I remember going to watch the original Sheik and BoBo Brazil fighting death matches. Back then the audience was seed at best. In fact I stopped going after I saw a concession stand worker pull a gun on a patron who had already pulled a knife on her. In the middle 80's I took my son to a WWE event. The final match was Hulk Hogan vs Goldberg.Vince McMahon actually wrestled that night as well.
I have to tell you that I was amazed how far professional wrestling had come. It was highly entertaining and produced like a Broadway show. Not only that, but the audience in attendance were normal, mostly family people. As Bob Hope used to say "Thanks for the memory(ies)" Chauncey.

  3. For the longest time I never understood the meaning of WWE! Back in highschool, I was a wrestling manager and it was so fun and entertaining to watch the wrestlers. Then, when I think of this, it seems like the complete opposite! Its so weird!

  4. Chauncey--Your new entries are pretty good. Interesting topics and pretty good visual appeal. Keep digging and analyzing your material and points. Write more to say more. Too brief. Provide set up context and closing thoughts.
